The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a frost advisory… which is in effect from midnight tonight to 9 am CDT Saturday for the central Oklahoma and Texas panhandles and thesouthwest Texas Panhandle. The western Oklahoma and Texas panhandles will be under a freeze warning.
* Temperature: temperatures are expected to fall to the 33 to 36 degree range after 4 am Saturday morning… then rise to the upper 30s after 8 am. for the frost advisory.
* Impacts: a light frost is expected late tonight and early Saturday morning which could damage or kill sensitive vegetation if left uncovered.
