Goodwell, Okla. — The softball team from Fort Hays State visited Oklahoma Panhandle State on Tuesday and won both games of a double header (13-3 and 10-2).
For the Lady Aggies in the first game, Kara Nugent and Kristen Curlin each had two hits (and both of Curlin’s were doubles). Megan Nieuwenhuis, Katie Salazar and Julie Cross each drove in a run.
In the second game, Brandi Heath had two hits and drove in both Lady Aggie runs.
The two wins improved the Fort Hays season record to 14-8 while OPSU fell to 2-28.
The Lady Aggies will be in Ada on Thursday for a double header with East Central University.
