    5: The SE Strutter’s Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation in McAlester is having there 16th Annual Hunting Heritage Fundraising Banquet at Southeast Expo Center, west Hwy 270, McAlester. The evening events include a fine meal, live and silent auction, games and also you could go home with one of several guns to be given away that night.     15: The third and final planned “Kids Only” trout fishing days at The Tulsa Trout Pond. Adults, only when accompanied by a child, may fish on kids only days. An Oklahoma fishing license is required by all those over 16 years of age who fish. The Tulsa Trout Pond is located in The Gardens at LaFortune Park near the corner of Hudson and 51st Street in Tulsa. The final stocking of The Tulsa Trout Pond took place on March 1, so there are plenty of trout remaining in the pond. Watch for news of Fish-Out weekend, where limits will be raised from four trout to 12 trout per angler per day until they are all caught. Funding for the trout in the pond was made possible by the Oklahoma Chapter of Trout Unlimited and NatureWorks, Inc.
