Zeda M. VanLuyck, 89, of Tyrone, died Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 31, 2010, at the Dunaway Manor in Guymon.
The daughter of Richard and Lola (Stanford) Beckemeyer, she was born on March 24, 1921, in Fults, Illinois.
Zeda was married to Victor VanLuyck, Jr.; he preceded her in death on Jan. 11, 1984. Mrs. VanLuyck was a homemaker and cosmetologist. She had been a resident of Tyrone for the past seven years.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Webber of Tyrone, and Sue McGuire of Florida; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Family inurnment services will be in the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. Services are under the care of the Bunch – Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon.

This was my Grandma. Very sad to see this news. I have lost touch with her over the years and am so sad to see I didn’t get to say goodbye to her. My daughters always called her “Grandma with the Blue earings”
