Without a doubt – the Lord of the Rings trilogy, plus The Hobbit would be my choice to have with me on a deserted island! I've read them several times since I was a teenager and these books, stories and characters have just been with me for most of my life – long before Peter Jackson filmed his trilogy! How could I possibly leave them on the mainland?
