OKLAHOMA CITY – Ash Cooper always fancied himself a world-class hockey player. That’s what little boys dream about while growing up in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. And, truth be told, Cooper was pretty talented on the ice. OKLAHOMA CITY – ProRodeo’s National Championship means a lot to every cowboy and cowgirl who has ever qualified to compete for the coveted title. Anglers interested in fly fishing can learn the sport Feb. 24-25 at the Illinois River Fly Fishing School. The clinic will be based out of Tenkiller State Park and will feature instructional sessions as well as hands-on practice on the banks of the Illinois River.
