Direct Trade: Carcass Basis: based on 185 lbs hog carcass with 0.9-1.1 inch back
fat and 6 inch square loin/2.0 inch depth plant delivered.  National direct
trade barrows and gilts were 1.05 lower with prices ranging from 40.00-50.16,
weighted average price 47.22.  Iowa-Minnesota was 1.49 lower at 40.00-49.85,
weighted average price 47.37.  Western Cornbelt sold .75 lower at 40.00-50.16,
weighted average price 48.23 and Eastern Cornbelt was .35 lower at 40.00-48.50,
weighted average price 45.75.

   Live Basis (240-280 lbs): National direct barrows and gilts were 1.45 higher
at 31.81-40.00, weighted average price 38.23.  Iowa-Minnesota was 1.53 higher at
34.00-40.00, weighted average 38.50.  Western Cornbelt was 1.49 higher at 34.00-
40.00, weighted average price 38.57.  Eastern Cornbelt was 1.75 higher at 31.81-
40.00, weighted average price 37.77.
